Happy Thanksgiving! - 11/27/14 03:30 PM

Just wanted to wish all of you a wonderful, safe, blessed Thanksgiving. May you feast merrily with friends and family...but not so merrily that the cops show up unless they are part of your friends/family. :-)

I am thankful for many things, not least among them the outstanding community we have here on the ETS Forums. I feel privileged to be a part of it.

Happy Thanksgiving from the West Coast to everyone! Even in the midst of challenges and our hectic lives, I hope we can all take the time to be thankful for the good things in our lives.

I hope it's a good one (which will include the Cowgirls losing to the Iggles!).

Happy Thanksgiving to all. The turkey was great as usual, as were the fixin's (defined as everything other than the bird). I'm finishing my second glass of cabernet and feeling it; thinking back to days when I drank more regularly, I feel like a real lightweight -- that may be a good thing wink Regardless, hope everyone has a great day and if you do drink, don't get behind a wheel.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I am still stuffed!

Have to share this:

Nearly 5-year-old Ethan was entertaining last night, but he wasn't much interested in the roasted Brussels Sprouts or Cranberry Sauce.

I explained first how the Brussels Sprouts would make him fart real good, which was enough to get him eating them. grin

Then a bit later I explained that if he ate the bright red Cranberry Sauce he'd have brilliant RED Farts. His eyes lit up and he scooped out a big serving. grin

To top it off, we coached him to tell his Grandmother over Skype:

"I ate Brussels Spouts and Cranberry Sauce and now I'll have Red Farts!" Her expression was priceless! shocked

Boys will be boys.... All in all, a great Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving was good. Small, but good.
