Wiggy Poncho - 05/06/12 08:03 AM

On the Wiggy web site they have this insulated poncho:

Anyone know how warm, waterproof and breathable
'6 ounce Lamilite / Climashield'
is?

Will it double as a summer sleeping bag?

The way I read it, this is not a poncho, but a liner that's water resistant. Says it can be worn with a waterproof poncho.

Pretty expensive woobie.

Woobie = poncho liner.

Price is usually under $50. You can have one altered for around $20, head slit, some velcro patches.

Also, I tend to distrust merchants with typos in the ads.

The stuff is very warm and extremely breathable. You really can crawl into a Wiggy's bag in rain soaked clothes and wake up completely dry in the morning.
