These look interesting for securing a variety of things. Should be safer than the traditional bungee cords with the metal ends and less prone to scratch your vehicle. Anyone have any experience with them?

The Nov 09 issue of the Costco connection had them listed both my mail order and in the warehouse. I'm going to check the warehouse before ordering.

Thanks IzzyJG99, for the feedback. I going to need some more shock type cords anyway so I'll give these a try.

As far as bungees go they look good. Catching one of those in the eye looks to be less painful than what happens with a rusty steel hook.

I pretty much switched to light-line years ago. Shortly after a large bungee broke and hit my hand so hard I couldn't use it for a couple of hours. I still have a mark. Light line is cheaper, stronger, more adaptable, longer lasting, and far less likely to spring back and take out an eye. But bungee cords are quick, dirty and there is no need to know how to tie a knot. Different strokes.
