hi all - 09/26/02 12:18 PM

hello everyone, i'm new in here. i've been reading the gear reviews on the main site for a while and they're all pretty good, mainly re-stating stuff that i already new but a few really good ideas/tips.

i've been interested in survival and bushcraft for about ten years now and although i'm mainly an armchair enthusiast i have practised some skills and assembled various kits.

i'm just wondering if there are any brits in here at all, not that i've got anthing against americans/canadians of course, well not much anyway ;-) it'd just be nice to chat to someone who's a little bit more local to me.

thanks for the good site/forums.
keep up the good work fellas.

stay safe.

Welcome! We have a strong contingent of brits here. Just look for posts with funny spelling and phrases" He thought I was cheeky when my survival fruitcake made him turn a loverly colour of international orange."

thanks for the tip for spotting brits on here chris, one critisism though, surely if i was using spelling as a guide then it's the brits who spell things corretly and the americans/canadians with the unusual spellings? no? ;-)
