Can I use power generator on the balcony of an apartment in power outage?

Probably not. It is likely against the local fire code as well as your lease. I don't think it's a good idea, in any case. Even if it doesn't get you, it could kill a neighbor without you realizing it. I see dead or sick people every year from carbon monoxide poisoning. It's too risky. Sorry, but you are smart to check first.

Doubtful. The instructions of all of them say some feet away from a building, probably 15 or more. At closer distances the carbon monoxide can be drawn into an open/cracked window and kill the people inside.

I would advise against it.

CO is serious stuff and a balcony is just too close. Also your going to want to refuel it up there and again, it is just too close for comfort.

A fire from a little spilled fuel or CO poisoning and you will wish your only problem was a lack of power.

Put the generator some distance away. Twenty-five feet isn't too far. Determining the safe distance is a matter of the specifics of the situation and judgment.
