What a story...

All the preparations we do to ensure that we can survive a night (or several) out in the bush really pales in comparison to the thought that one simple device like a PLB (ELT/EPIRB) can get us rescued in only a few hours. A survival kit the size of desk wouldn’t have done that 3-year-old little girl any good. Thank God that ELT actually did what it was supposed to do.
