Utility Cart? - 04/29/02 06:13 PM

How many people have and can recommend a good cart to help move stuff to their car? For example, it may come in handy if one would need to supplement the 3-day kit in the car with some 14-gallon rubbermaid containers full of survival goodies in a HURRY without making multiple, strenuous trips. I have the extra long version of this cart. It is excellent but somewhat expensive.

http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/commerce/command/ProductDisplay?prmenbr=201&prrfnbr=4434&outlet=

must you deal with narrow halls and stairs or are you moving things from the garage to the car? Anything from a yard cart to a utility two-wheeler could be your correct option. If you are unloading from an apartment then you need a movers two-wheeler. These can be found starting at $20 at walmart. You could spend as much as $250 if you wanted to get extra features but you only need to be able to move around 500 pounds occasionally and the rest of the time it sits in the corner behind your rubbermaid crates with them sitting on the plate strapped in ready to go. I would think that the cheap one would be fine.
