Painting my tin

I was bored and sprayed the outside of my tin with some OD Krylon, as well as the matchbox and minature altoids tin inside.

Now if I drop it, I'll never find it!

It isn't so bad, is it.. The tin looks nice to, Blaze orange or fluorescent yellow would have been better but it atracts attention on the times that you don't want it!

Can you still boil water in the tin now??

Good question... The inside hasn't been painted, so I suspect you could, although I'm sure the heat would damage the paint on the outside.

Maybe you should get some black stove paint, or any color you want of engine block paint, they should be able to handle heat better...

While I find them handy as anything, what are the screweyes for?

For lightweight lashing mostly, I got the idea from something I read on Don Rearic's site and had a few laying around, wasn't hard to squeeze them in so I figured why not.
