Surefire is having a new light out called Kroma which is all LED multicolor: white (low/hight, blue and red... MSRP: 299

I've definately got my eye on one of these: Kel-Tec PF-9. Not quite as small and light as the .380 version, but should be a lot more gun.

that would have to be one heck of a flashlight for a $300 suggested retail --TOO much for me

I've been really bugged with Surefire lately. I have 5 of their lights; some weapons mounted, and my favorite handheld ever...the L2 Lumamax. What's got me so P.O.ed is they've gone around shutting down (to their product) all sellers of their lights that sell below their MSRP, including an internet seller I've been dealing with for years. Heck, you've seen their prices. What's wrong with a little fair competition and being able to find a dealer that doesn't charge full MSRP.

That's my rant for the night!

yeah 300 is steep but it will come down... people are speculating on 230 which is still a lot but better than msrp...

Where did you hear that? They are shutting down all the unauthorized dealers but I don't think they care much about others.

Yeah. off to Oban in scotland on tuesday for a couple of days. Last time I was there, I saw some opinels and moras in one of the shops, but wasn't sure about them. Now as lots of people ok them, I will get a couple and give them a whirl. for the price of them, its not a big gamble is it
