TAD Gear Store - 10/21/04 04:08 PM

Had a chance to get by the TAD Gear store yesterday. Worse than CountyComm!! They had a LOT of knives .several small compasas, PSK, and USAF fire starting kits in orange or OD plastic boxes. Good selection of Photon lights in stock.
Got a pair of their pants on sale, a few of the Q-tip FAKs and some glow in the dark cord Nice guys there. The CountyComm magazine pouch looks just like the TAD gear branded ones, at a good savings.

I have one of their mini SAS button compasses. It's the highest quality button compass I have ever seen. It aint cheap but it was worth every penny.

It's fun stuff, but I always have to smile at the name. "Triple aught" was something of an anticlimax, but the stuff is still selling...

Got one with my 'survival capsule.'
It IS a great little compass, isn't it!

I hate going to that site. I look at that guy on the front page, and feel completely inadequate. Maybe I should store a deep link so I don't have to look at him.

What guy are you referring to? I check their site almost daily and haven't felt inadequate other than when I price some of their stuff that I "really" want.

Whatever the guy I'm sure he can't ride a goat.

I'm losing it, that's twice in one week I've been confused. I was thinking of the brigadequartermaster.com site.

Yep it's great. I bought mine with a capsule too. I ended up selling the capsule on Ebay but I'm not lettin go of that compass. It puts to shame every single liquid-filled 15mm-20mm button compass I have ever owned and its smaller too!

Goatrider,
Well I thought I was confused. At least one of us is.

I've been wanting one of those SAS mini compasses too, but haven't been able to get myself to pay that price.
