Question about Rescue Hook

I like its unconventional looks. Model 5 Rescue Hook looks groovy, but how does one hold it? Has anyone here used it?

I have the black finish version, works well.
Put your index finger through the hole, and your thumb on the serrations, and pull toward you. Whatever is in the cutting groove will quickly separate!
Mine cuts seat belt webbing like paper.
