The Houston Emergency Preparedness Cookbook - 07/25/21 04:07 AM
Don't know whether this link has been shared already, but it looks useful. Also, it's free. That's my favorite price.
https://www.houstontx.gov/health/OSPHP/English_cookbook.pdfFrom the file name, I'm guessing there is a Spanish version for those who want to practice their foreign language skills.

Every spring the city of Houston has a free hurricane preparations workshop with classes, venders, and volunteer organizations. The give out paperback versions of this and the Spanish one for free. It really is awesome!

I love that this exists and I hope that those who need it are directed toward it. I'll certainly download a copy for some fun camping/emergency ideas. That said, they could have better shopping lists based on the ingredients needed for the listed recipes.

This is brilliant! A friendly, non-kooky way of promoting preparedness.
And I think the pumpkin pie oatmeal deserves a closer look. Mmm, pie.
