Air Crash in Papua New Guinea - 12/30/17 05:15 AM

Per the news links below, the aircraft crashed 12/23/2017 in the Morobe Province of Papua New Guinea at the 9500 ft level.

The pilot survived the crash and reported in, but due to the terrain and weather, it took rescuers 3 days to reach the pilot, by which point the pilot had expired.

Since he was found still in the wreckage several days after the crash, he may have been too seriously injured to help himself. It's a sad story.
