Can You fit a full EDC kit in a wallet? I'm trying to see if I can make a mini-kit small enough.

It depends on what you call EDC. I have built kits that fit in a neck wallet that included fire, signal, water purification, cordage, knife, saw, and an emergency blanket. It is minimal, but will do the bare essentials once or twice before you run out of supplies.

I have not been able to fit it all in a wallet that can fit in your pocket.

survival necklace

Same idea, different location. Or glue a money clip to a DRPSK and call it done.

I have a blood stopper gauze and a couple of 2x2 telfa pads in my wallet... Benchmade folder in pocket, extra mag for the G43, Fenix E05, P-38, brass whistle, pill fob (advil and aspirin) on key ring... bandana in pocket... I used to have more in a small utility pouch, but this is pretty much the minimum, and G43 added when I go out

Les: I'm interested in the dimensions and covering , if any, that you use to carry the blood stopper gauze in your wallet. Can you post a picture?

You may have read my past posts about my pocket trauma kit/ multi purpose cloth. I've posted it several times. It is a well washed, large, yellow cotton bandanna. It is dry HOT ironed and folded / ironed repeatedly, until it's pocket sized. Then it's immediately slipped into a sterile Gerber Breast Milk Bag. The air is pressed out with a book weight and the bag sealed. Not quite sterile, but darn close. The bag edges and middle are reinforced with 2" Gorilla Tape, but a bit of see thru is left, for curious police/ TSA. I then flat fold about 40" of 2" Gorilla Tape over a 4" piece of clear plastic report cover. This flat roll is taped to the bagged bandanna. The unit is carried in my front pocket, with my wallet, a Browning pen with flashlight end, a carbide tip and a small pen tip. That pocket also carries my LM XE-6. All this can be comfortably carried in a business suit pant pocket, unobtrusively.

This set-up gives me , alternatively, a trauma bandage, tourniquet, chest seal bandage, sling, smoke/ dust mask, signal flag, repair tape and handkerchief! It also makes my wallet highly resistant to being pickpocketed. ( I live highly urban.). Sometimes I carry a second packet in my coat or EDC Bag. I'd like to add some blood stppper gauze if it doesn't make the packet too thick.

acropolis...I have a Photobucket account, but haven't paid the ransom to post...the "Blood Stop" gauze is 2x2, foil sealed made by Lifescience PLUS... I got it from a friend at SOCOM that picked it up at one of the military technology symposiums... I use a Maxpedition wallet, and there is a separate bill partition that allows a couple of 2x2s some duct tape on a card and a boo boo bandage or two

I like your bandana idea

no affiliation, and have not actually used the product

Anyone use cotton OR towels (aka huck towels or surgical towels)?

Eg.

As a 4 pack, they are $11 but in larger quantity they're less than a dollar per towel.

Les: Thanx for the reply. It got me to the manufactuer's site. It appears that the product is intended only for surface use and moderate bleeding. I'm more interested in a heavy duty hemostatic agent that I could also insert into a penetrating wound with a major bleed. I have Celox Z fold Trauma Gauze in my EDC IFAK. I guess it's back to the drawing board for a compact HD hemostatic package that I can attach to my bandanna kit.
