SOG Fusion Micron - micro review - 07/13/13 08:54 PM

Finally laid hands on a SOG Fusion Micron‏ - its a tiny keychain sized knife. 1.5 " blade, 3.44" open. non-locking blade, nail nick.

And its too small.

At best, I can get 2 fingers on the handle. Sadly, its just too tiny for anything I'd need it for - including cutting tape on mail packages. Not enough security when I use it.

Some suggestion.
You could use a lanyard such as:

It gives you some extra grip on the knife

here is a thread about small knives and keeping them useful.

There's a smart solution with some rope and a keyring (on the second page of the thread).

An advantage of the spyderco knives is that they are "scallopped" to take the form of your fingers and that the blade has a buldge at the top (where the hole is) to rest your tumb on.

The sog is more straight, so it might not be as secure.

And if this doesn't help, you can always send it to me ;-)
pm me for my adress if you want to give it a new home 8-)

hope this helps.
