Having dealt with corpses that haven't been devoured by vultures, I am not sure that the vulture route doesn't offer some advantages. In a back country situation, at least the carry out team has a much lighter load to contend with. That will be duly noted and appreciated.

Well, as long as I'm dead before they start, it's better than the attempts to preserve bodies forever with embalming.
