Nicely done! I have a couple slabs of fatwood but haven't used them yet. It's cool to see just how flammable they really are.

yeah, the stuff is amazingly cool. It takes some looking for to get up here in NH; so far I've not found any huge deposit, like a whole stump.

I can't see it due to work restrictions, but there are some other good YouTube videos on using birch bark and the like with a flint steel. Watching that gave me a lot more confidence with my skills.
