Brunton Whistle Compass

Brunton Whistle Compass - 07/13/09 05:57 PM

These look kind of neat, I was considering buying a few for the grand kids. They seem to get mixed reviews on some of the sites I found. Anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks

Well just within arms reach is an ACR (i think from the Dougs PSP) and a Fox40 Classic.

Brunton has great gear. Their compasses my get a dodgey rep for the bubble but the rest is sturdy, quality IMHO.

I have one of the original Silva's. They work, after a fashion. Compass is fairly robust but the whistle is really only a back up.

It is a good choice for children/young people.

Buy it.
