I know there are some belt buckle knives and likely some flasks, but are there belt buckle tools or storage?

I've seen a few with bottle openers - does that count? smile

Here is one I ran across a while ago with a couple of screwdrivers and a small hex wrench. Not sure if it is still around

I had one of those gerber belt buckle knives. The backing for the bit that held the knife in, fell off the first day. Never bought gerber again.

I saw one in the SkyMall magazine could hold cash/id cards. Not really a ton of space.

Might be a North American Arms revolver

There was a two shot, .32 cal belt buckle pistol that was made in small numbers in WWII under the Nazis. Not quite rodeo sized and it was kinda kludgey to use as I recall. Don't know if any actually were fired except accidentally. Personally, I think I'd rather get shot than any of the other options that involve a Nazi standing over me undoing his belt. Just saying....

And back to the original subject, I like my belt buckle being a belt buckle.

Given the propensity of some country boys to wear large, manhole-size, belt buckles you could carry all sorts of stuff. I can't imagine carrying much, I go for minimalist units, and the thought of weight on my buckle sounds uncomfortable, but I imagine that it wouldn't be difficult to manufacture a sturdy Alkaloids-size box and solder on the appropriate fittings to allow a belt to be attached.

Coincidentally I happen to be going through a WW2 history site, lots of information worth looking at, and saw a piece on a belt-buckle gun:

Not to put a slant on the subject, but I remember seeing a "tool belt" at a snowboard store about 15 years ago. It had a few screwdrivers and hex wrenches. "Tool" was also snowboarder slang for "loser", and I doubt any experienced snowboarders bought the belt. I think it was a gag gift.

I've seen belt buckle brass knucks, knives, and revolvers, but never storage spaces. The neatest one I've seen lately is one that can be used for emergency rappelling, but I don't remember the brand name.
