I made a shot in the dark and bought a kerosene heater I know nothing about, from another forum. Just because it was cheap.
Only thing I know is that it run on kerosene and has wicks. The brand is POD.

So please tell me what ever you know about such a thing.

Did my research.If youre in a state that sells it at gas stations/ag stores,youre good to go.Gotta buy kero at Lowes,pretty expensive heat.

So for me,a very good option,isnt feasible here at 13.99/gallon.Tough break.

Spuds... I, too, had a hard time finding kero in bulk... finally found a company that specializes in on site builidng construction fueling, specialty racing fuels, and non ethanol gasoline... red dyed #1 was still $5 a gallon...

IIRC to get the price down some, try to find somewhere that carries the undyed kerosene. The dyed version is dyed to show its taxed for road fuel use.

In Finland, the price for kerosene used in lamps and heaters cost about 20 euros for a 10 litre canister.

The heater arrived. Have tried it for a while. Works nicely.
