Either my briefcase or backpack that I am carrying to work will include a pair of light gloves. They can be real handy.

Pig skin work gloves are stapped to my bag year round, with USGI-type wool liners in them in winter.

My kits have pigskin or mechanic's glove in them year round, even in the winter, when I'd be foolish not to wear good, warm and dry mitts, often coupled with thin liners as well.

I carry heavy firefighting gloves in all vehicles, including my patrol car(handy at vehicle crashes). In addition my vauious GO bags have heavy leather gloves, some with military wool liners for cold weather.

Only a pair of nitrile gloves in my size fits my EDC PFAK. Other gloves of tougher material make the BOB, car kit, etcetera.

Yeah, I carry a pair of thin running gloves in my EDC kit. In my EDC pack I also have two sets of nitrile gloves. One pair is jammed in a spare bus. card slot but another pair is in a old 35mm film canister which protects them and you can toss the canister to someone if need be.

I also carry a pair of sturdier gloves for my workouts and any emergency's.

At least 2 pairs of mechanics gloves in the truck- never know what you might have to move or handle with my wife on the hunt for some treasure.
