There is the Thermos Shuttle Chef

Is there a DC i.e 12 or 24V Solar PV Electric Vacuum Insulated Slow Cooker. The power requirement even for the slow cooker is only around 150W for a medium sized slow cooker, but the slow cooker could be improved with a Vacuum insulation enclosure as per the Thermos Shuttle Chef, radically reducing overall energy input to cook the food over the 6-10 hour period. I was also thinking of including a cast iron inner pan to maximise the stored thermal energy to smooth out the temperature control if throughout periods of the day the weather became over cast.

Is there a commercial equivalent known to anyone?
