I have been remiss in posting my outing piccies. Two weekends ago, we had the chance to camp at the beach for three days.

The birds go fishing every morning at sunrise.

The sun comes up early at about 5:15 am. So I got to do some tai chi with the sunrise. That was nice and took off the chill. It was windy there and occasionally rainy.

The kids got up early too. And surprisingly, many chose to read while waiting for the rest of their friends to wake up.

What it looked like over the mountains every morning. And some times into the afternoon.

My silly monkey in her new FiveFingers.

Of course, at camp, we eat.

Up next, beach action...

Beach action...

Yeehah!

My wife, the shy "10"

My daughter loves to bury dad. Hmmm...what does that mean. So while I get buried, I keep busy playing with sand.

See the resemblance?

Paddling out the fishing line.

Last batch that didn't fit on the last post.

Moms chillin'

We beat the rain as we were leaving. I love it when we get to take down camp and pack out dry!

My camera, in a bowl of water, under the running faucet, getting a much needed and deserved bath. Sand gets everywhere. Even on a camera.

Thanks for looking. We will be camping again this coming weekend? Woohoo!!

Nice pics Aloha! We're hiking to the beach today. The view won't be as nice and there's no overnight camping/tenting allowed. I guess what Imm saying that I'm jealous!

You lucky...........

Just to keep this on an E.T.S. footing, what's your prep for checking tides, expected weather etc?

If there is no lightning in the sky, we go. When we get there, we look at the water before going in. Pretty simple.

I haven't gone diving with the kids so the timing the tides aren't as important. Unless the ocean is rough, we are getting wet.
