Challenging weather and the trend for people to take holidays in the UK has resulted in a record-breaking 2010 for mountain rescue teams, according to The Guardian. They are starting to wonder if it is a continuing trend, and if so whether they should do something about it.
I surprised they haven't been called out more often.
