This Wednesday's episode of Mythbusters (Oct. 14, Discovery Channel) is focusing on Duct/Duck Tape.

Whenever I think of duct tape, I think of babysitting. And when I think of babysitting, I remember a poem about Mendel*. I wonder if they are going to show right and wrong ways to duct tape babies and small children to walls and heavy furniture? Maybe I should watch.

Nailed the baby to the door.

It would seem that duct tape would prevent nail holes and gore.

I made a duct tape wallet for my son a year ago and he still plays with it (he's 6)...also made one for a co-worker's husband, and when I gave it to her another co-worker seemed heartbroken that he hadn't gotten one. I made the one's with the change pocket.

Liking that SS wallet. Me thinks it would be some time before it would need replacing.

There were no nail holes or gore. Besides, cats are human and kids are just kids. (ducking and running fast)
