1) Obviously, don't believe everything seen on youtube.

2) If you succeed, please let me know. Having been around dogs all my life, I would enjoy less DOOTY duty.

Cats are different from dogs.

But if you got a dog to do that then where would it drink from?

There probably are some dogs about who've been taught to use the toilet.

I stayed with friends whose cat was trained to pee on their toilet in the master bedroom.

One evening, when I knew my friends were gone and I was alone in the house (or supposed to be), I suddenly heard very loud peeing from the master bedroom.

My heart thumped, thinking it was an intruder.

It was the cat.

They did not train her to flush.

These people either taught the cat to flush, or she learned all by herself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WofFb_eOxxA

A compulsive flusher isn't a good thing for your water bill.

Training them to use the bidet is quite tricky though as even some humans have a problem.

I remember a cat toilet training product from years back, way pre-Youtube.

I don't think a dog has the capability in that regard that a cat does. It's possible to train dogs to go on command and it's possible to train them to go in a certain area. However, a housebroken dog may have a bit of trouble adjusting to a "litter box" setup indoors.

My friend's cat doesn't flush. And doesn't drink beer, so she's less of a burden on the water bill than two-legged toilet users.
