I'm looking for a new pack for the summer, I don't think my North Face terra pack will survive another summer. I haven't had a chance to check them out in person, but I guess Mystery Ranch packs are made here in Bozeman. Does any one have any experience with these?

I'm looking for something in the 2,000 to 3,000 cubic in. range.

I have two Mystery Ranch systems, they are quite posibly the greatest packs I have ever had!

Both packs are great, especially very heavy loads over rough terrain! I love the setup. Both packs have hundreds of hiking hours on them with nothing more than normal wear! They have been replaced by other, task specific, packs for SAR and Medical work but they are still my first choice for extended trips or when I need to carry huge loads!
