I still think it's beyond my comfort level in times of plenty (I stopped eating lobster because I thought it looked like a large insect), it's probably a good thing to know about if you're ever short on food in the woods!
Lobsters ARE large insects-IIRC, they are actually related to the cockroach... That being said, there is a certain squeamishness about eating bugs. My suggestion, if you wanted to try it on your own, is to roast them-bug carry a lot of parasites.
I've been trying to convince the Houston Arboretum to let me teach a bug-eating class, but the guy in charge gets sick to his stomach every time I bring it up. Maybe that article will change his mind.
