My black cat Oliver guards my house from the evil squirrels intent upon taking over the yard and neighborhood. He also is on guard against blue jays and cardinals. Birds, not baseball teams, he doesn't like baseball, altho he does like to watch the weather channel with all the colors.

Against the person/persons who attempted to break into the house, not so good. Both cats were under the covers on the bed, their hiding place. (I can't see you, you can't see me)
