Yes you can laugh...

Our youngest has taken up stakeboarding. (Can you see where this is heading?) Ok so I try something. Litterally nothing big.....our driveway has a steeper angle than the area I was on....Long story short....it went back, I went forward...couldn't get the foot forward fast enough to catch myself....landed on my right elbow....and my right 'hip'. Had a digital camera in my right cargo pocket....note I said 'had'...we wanted a new one anyway....the keys in my right front pocket didn't feel good either though.

Hahhahahahahaha. Oh man. Well they say glory doesn't come without tears, pain and sweat... Your glory comes with pain, new digital camera and some laughs... Rock on there Tony Hawk Hope you feel better mate.

I got 'toned out' on a call so I couldn't finish the story....the landing was on my right elbow...skinned it pretty good. The worst....was the right thigh. Know that 'nerve center' in the thigh?.....that is right where I landed...with the camera and my keys between my leg and the concrete. I really did 'stop' for a second and do a once over on the hip and leg just to make sure I didn't break it....my leg was almost completely out of commission for a few moments. I am surprised that I didn't bruise the quad....even today (a day later) there isn't any bruise....lucky....I know it!

My wife was there but just so happened that she was not looking at me as I did it......small consolation....After I described what I did any why, even she admitted that it was one of those 'ok...it did seem like you could have done it-seeing as you've done 'more' without difficulty....'

The teasing will continue.....and yes you can join in.....
