Has anyone used AMK Fresh Bath Wipes? How well do they work?

Ors,

I haven't used them. I do pack "Wet Ones/Handi-Wipes" and other similar products in my gear. I can get a pack of 15 at the local Target for $.97 That does the trick if I want a quick clean up before meals (the "...yes, Mom!" response is still drilled into my head).

Oh yeah, I started using the anti-bacterial Wet Ones recently...a little more peace of mind with young ones around. But I get the impression that the AMK wipes are for more of a sponge bath...I'm thinking for emergencies where we may be away from home for several days and not in an easy to bathe type situation.

I realized I needed the Wet Ones after I was doing a lot of travelling, eating Subway in my car, and slopped sweet onion and honey mustard all over my hands, with only dry napkins to clean up...steering wheel still has some sticky spots!

Never realized they were AMK's, but yes I use them for wildland and backpacking. They work well, wish they came in indvidual packing though... they can dry up once opened pretty quickly in the AZ summer.

How do these differ from the larger, thicker type of baby wipes?

Would transferring them to a ziplock bag improve the evaporation problem?

AT the hospital i work (RN) we have the "wipes" we use to bathe patients if needed.............basically the cheapest way to go is the super thick baby wipes............you can get them by the truck load for a lot less than the ones you mention. and yes they are the exact same thing for the most part..............

and for what ever reason.............they never seem to dry out very easily.............we keep them in the little plastic dispenser box they come in for our daughter and they seem to last almost a month and never dry out ...........
