IMHO, Big 5 generally sells grade B & C material to unsuspecting clients, but every once in a while, something good shows up - like RSK Mk 5 for $9.99 - I am on my way....

Unfortunately, the manager could not find the one Mk5 he supposedly had in stock, but he placed my order for three. It will be a long two weeks, but I must be strong....

I had one in the mini-PSK but after my backpack was stolen I decided to not go and purchase a new PSK plus kit (just the standard PSK). I've already got a bunch of other stuff that I prefer to have - like a P-squirt tool and some coin-cell LED lights. The knife on the Squirt is a bit smaller but all the other tools make it far more useful. My mentality is that the mini-PSK is the supplement rather than the main kit and as a more portable backup system.

Apropos of nothing, recently I have found some pretty good prices on the Mk6 as well. So far I have purchased two. It's a much better knife than the Mk5 but of course it should be given that it's twice the size.
