Look great. My only concern is that price tag. I didn't do an official conversion but we're talking about 4 to 5 HUNDRED bucks...holy crapola.

I'd rather invest in a boiling/distilling gadget plus some Activated carbon smile
This thing is probably worth $500 for a soldier surviving, who can't for one or another reason to stop and(or) make fire, but afraid of a foreign bacteria. But what a rush in a civil survival situation? Also it's still no good for chemical residues.

I think it is a great new product since it is effective
against virus. Few filters can do this but a good
purifier can (miox etc). You may know this site, but I
just discovered it and it is very helpfull in chosing a
filter or purifier:
http://chppm-www.apgea.army.mil/WPD/CompareDevices.aspx
U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine
did the largest test I have ever seen on this subject.

Awesome site. I didn't realize the ability of my MIOX pen to kill Crypto was so questionable.

for a third of that price, i'd buy a miox instead.
I think it would be better for bulk water instead of a small 1L Bottle.

cheers,
