Has anyone seen or used one of these collapsible silicone bowls? Availible at REI Here. I saw them mentioned on Military.com and I thought they might be a good replacement the canteen cup since we're all issued camelbaks and not canteens now. Its supposed to be heat resistant to 400 F and I'm curious if that means you can boil water in it over a fire.

Ah, I found the answer to my last question, you'd have to use hot rocks to boil water in one. Still it seems like a useful piece of kit.

It should be easy to squeeze them into a spout shape for refilling narrow-necked water containers.

You should check out their water bottles too! Great stuff those Guyot folks think up.

The Orikaso bowls cups & plates look pretty clever too.

I have a bowl and cup set and they're great. Lightweight and you can stash them anywhere. I like mine too much to try the boil water over a fire thing though.
