Close to being finished finally!

I've added a few items, and instead of the camera pouch, I now have larger (but flatter) pouch the size of a thigh pack. The tin is a standalone kit, or it can be combined with the pack to provide more extensive support. Inside the pack (pictures near bottom) are are signal panels, water bags, two space blankets, an emergency poncho, some hand warmers (getting cold here!), flat pack of duct tape, moleskin, cheap sun glasses, and some plastic ties.

The first aid components are just for minor boo boos, as I carry a dedicated first aid kit seperate.

Good pic and good list. Thanks! I always like to compare, and then go home, look at my kits and, well, you know ...
One question - what are the screw eyes for?

Would you please tell me the make and model of the zippered purse in your EDC photo? A web site would be great if you've got one.

Thanks!

I was reading an article by don rearic about eye screws, and I had room so I'm like why not

Where I live there are plenty of trees, and I can save lashing line by tying things to the eyelets instead of having to go all the way around a trunk if there are no branches low enough to reach.

I can set a trout line across a body of water, or a line between two trees to drape a space blanket/poncho, or four trees to make a canopy.

Not absolutely needed, but nice to have I think.

I'll keep looking around. Many of the other multitools are too long, too wide, too tall, or oddly shaped... but if I come across a better quality of one similar demensions, I'll pick it up

Obviously I EDC a multitool anyway, but I wanted this to be a kit that would be useful even if I had nothing else.

I got it at walmart, over near the camera/electronics section. I don't remember what it was called, but it was only about $3-4, and was the largest thing I could find that I didn't mind carrying on my belt all the time.

It's not on the website, but next time I go to walmart, I'll make sure to get the name and brand for you

Thanks! I'll keep my eyes open for it in WalMart too, but if you get there before me, please do go ahead and post what you find.

Your LED lights seems quite heavy, why not photon II or similar?

Nicely done.

I am interested in where you got your compass and your tin. Can you provide a link or a source.

Thanks,
