Anyone ever used the MSR Miniworks ? I'm looking to buy a water filter and this one has caught my eye. It'll be used for lots of weekend trips and a few 7-10 day trips, either solo or with one other hiker. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris.

I have the older model and have found it to be an excellent filter. The new filter is supposed to pump faster then the old one. I think the top 2 are the hiker by Katadyn ( PUR used to make it but I think Katadyn bought them out - not sure though) and the Mini Works. I choose the mini-works because of the field serviceability. You can clean the ceramic element w/ the little pad they give.

Also if I recall correctly the navy seals use them.
