One hand operated equipment are great because you can use them wenn one arm is injured, but why does so many people pack single hand operated equipment in there PSK's withs are tape shut. they are almost imposible to open them with one hand... so doesn't that take the one hand use option away ? most injury's are usually cause in the beginning of the survival situation, right ? So have you guys ever thought of that wenn packing PSK ? I think im gonna put some peel of backing on the last CM of tape i put around the tin or i just fold that part, so it will be easyer to open with one hand, but it increases the chance that it will rip open...
Just a thought i got while staring/testing mine new sparklite..

I just fold the last bit of tape back on itself to provide a small pull tab. You can always use your teeth <img src="images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. Quality tapes have enough adhesive to maintain the seal. If the PSK is in a pocket there is little chance of it undoing itself.

Like Chris, I just fold the last bit of tape back on itself to create a pull tab. I do this whenever I tape up something inside a kit or out.
