What is the closest Benchmade knife, that is similar to the Doug Ritter Mk1, (also the mini model) that is in production? Thanks.

Not to try to dictate anyone's knife preferences, but you should look for high-end stainless steel (S30V in the original, M390 in the second generation version), drop point, and plain-edge.

As of the holiday, my children all have monogrammed orange-handle RSK Mk1 minis in M390, matching my full-size Mk1.

Thanks!

Youngest was very excited and is undoubtedly looking for things that need to be cut even as I write this. Middlest has had one for some time and uses it responsibly. Eldest was...well...not exhibiting the finest of Christmas spirit, but I think will come around.

I have a lot of nice knives, some being very expensive comparatively, and this one is hard to put down.
