Good prices on heat sheets - search " Adventure Medical Kits 2 Person Heatsheets Survival Emergency Blanket" on ebay.

Buyer beware, I ordered 15 of those when they went on sale for 3.19 each. They are shipped sans the outer hard plastic packaging which positively identifies it as the 1 - 2 person (i.e. larger) heatsheet. At first I thought I got ripped off, and pulled out one of my others that still had it's original packaging, and there is one interesting discrepency. The item description got the dimensions right (96 x 60 inches) but the weight they indicate is 2.88 ounces, and the weight on mine indicates 3.5 ounces. Perhaps the weight difference is the actual shipping weight per item due to them NOT including the outer packaging. They do come still sealed in their inner softer plastic packaging (what you get after you remove the harder plastic outer packaging). I plan to open one of my older heatsheets and compare it to these new ones. I'll let you all know what I come up with and (maybe) post some pics.

Update: My son and I finally got around to unfolding one of these and measuring it this evening. Looks like my initial suspicions were unfounded. The blankets I received appear to actually be the proper size for the 1 to 2 person size heatsheet. It was a bit shy of the 60 inches wide at 58 and 1/2 inches, but was a bit longer than the 96 inches at 99 and 1/2 inches. Close enough for me and a bargain at the aforementioned 3.19 per sheet with free shipping. Check them out here:

No affiliations. As I said I ordered 15 of them, and was suspicious at first, and while I only measured one of the blankets I received, I have little doubt the rest are not also the 1 to 2 person (i.e. larger) heatsheet. So NOW I am just a satisfied customer. The normal price on these is 3.99 (that still seems like a good deal) but if you wait it out, you may find these on sale as I did. Good luck.

Man, I forgot all about this thread! Sorry everyone, I meant to reply long ago. I've purchased maybe thirty of these over the last several months and they do indeed seem to be the real deal. I took a couple out in March on a camping trip and them when it started raining and getting nippy. When they were first listed they were even cheaper so I stocked up.

WOW!! Even CHEAPER!?!?!?!?!? Oh man, how'd I miss THAT? Oh well. I still think they are a pretty good steal deal at the current price, but sure wish I'd have seen them before. Just goes to show even some of the guys on here like to hunt for great bargains. blush
