It's so peaceful without electricity and cars zipping by... 24 hours without power (well from the grid) and over 2' of snow.

Picture soon.

This storm has been great so far!

The first raindrops just fell. Looks like quite a storm on the way...

I sort of wish I had your weather conditions right now. I am scheduled to teach an ice rescue class tomorrow and it is 60+F right now melting all of my beautiful ice frown.

Gee, Pete, I am confused. You speak of an ice rescue class. Doesn't ice require more strenuous efforts to rescue it at 60F than at lower temperatures?

Yes it does, curse that warm air mad. That beautiful ice sheet is becoming nothing more ice chucks, soon to be ice cubes and alas just the liquid form of H2O shocked. On the other hand, we are under a high wind warning tomorrow, so maybe we will just play with some toy sailboats grin.

Driveway has been plowed twice this morning as has our road.

Generator running since 6am, gave her a few hour rest during the night and the fridge/freezer stayed cold even though its mid 70s in the house.

Loving the powder!

Only wish my ATV exhaust pipe wasn't broke in half so I could enjoy the fresh snow on my ATV with Tracks frown

Over 1000 HARD miles on this thing and I haven't "broken" or replaced anything other than 'consumables', and broken items from when my brother and wife (separately) rolled it!!

Really, its only been 2 belts, a couple CV boots, 1 CV (my fault for not replacing boots) coil springs and a handle bar. The CV, boots, and springs were all done at once too, and after 1k+ miles.

I called about the exhaust pipe and it's under my extended warranty, I had just planned to weld it up but changed my mind when I heard they altered the design to prevent this from happening again!

I will buy another Polaris ATV in the future that's for darn sure! Convincing my wife I need another will be something different, luckily she didn't mind the purchase of this polaris rzr a couple weeks ago smile
