A number of military, survival and outdoor gear distributors have recently introduced bogus glass signal mirrors, made in Taiwan, to the U.S. market. I guess by now it shouldn't surprise me what lengths people will go to to make a buck. Hopefully these mirrors won't ever get in the way of anyone's chances of surviving.

Bump ... yet another reason to practice using a mirror without an aimer - using the other hand as an aiming aid:

Besides, I've always had problems getting the aimer to work while wearing glasses (needed for distance vision).
