I couldn't tell if I posted this before. It's a collection of documents relating to Emergency Preparedness. Most of these came from government agencies, or government sponsored agencies. Some are old. Some are new. Some are correct. Some are wrong.

It appears to be the only site of it's kind on the internet.

Hmmm, these will require a closer examination.
Thanks for posting the site.

If you go to the Earthquake section there is a pdf document titled "LAFD Emergency Preparedness Book". If you are in an earthquake prone area, it's worth downloading.

I mentioned to the site owner that if he can no longer provide a home for this information, that he see about giving it to another site ( maybe this one??? ). It's about 738MB compressed.

Wow! That is one of the better preparedness manuals I've seen in a long time!

I'm going to go through looking for some of the historical Civil Defense booklets.

Better yet the current version (2008) of the LAFD Emergency Preparedness Book is available from the source, http://www.cert-la.com/EmergPrepBooklet.pdf.
