As a preface, let me say that I'm not claiming this is the perfect knife for all situations, or for any situation for that matter. I'm just saying I found it interesting.

I ran across the Benchmade 10510 (http://www.thefirestore.com/store/product.cfm?pID=1986) while shopping for some EMS items. What struck me is how thin it is (the knife alone is about 3/8"). The belt clip also is removeable (in addition to being reversable). It takes up very little room, which was a real selling point for me. It's fairly inexpensive, so I'm going to use it with less concern for damage or loss. My only question is when did Benchmade start making knives in Taiwan?
