I have been browsing a number of forums for some time now and like the tone and information of this one.
After Christmas I found a Winchester brand value pack at Walmart for under 10.00. It has a 2 1/2" SSS lock blade folder w clip and a fairly comprehensive mini tool like the Leatherman Mini. These are ceartainly NOT Leatherman quality but for the price an exceptional deal. I have used both items just to see how well they hold up and seem to do just fine so they will be used for backups. Wish I had purchased more to use as gifts.

welcome to the forum! Please stick around and use the search feature alot. There is much wisdom and experience here. If you are using the search feature don't forget to select a search range of "all posts" rather than just the "last week".

I LOVE WalMart!

All these guys talking about Leatherman's and the like... well, I guess they all just make more money than me! I've been afraid to say anything. I saw the Winchester value pack the other day, thought about picking one up myself but the wife told me I'd spent my allowance for the week! I tried to reason with her. She just got me some 50 cent candy so I'd shut up.

Anyway welcome aboard... I'm new too BTW. <img src="images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
