South Pacific vs. Carribbean??? - 03/09/04 03:54 AM

Hey Trusbx, You're there and sound pretty well "Up" on the area, can you tell me a little bit about your neck of the woods...er... water? How's the socio-political climate concerning middle class easy going Americans that might be interested in relocating. Some of my co-workers tell me to "Watch out for pirates and drug runners", seems to me that a smallish boat with no obvious "window dressing" wouldn't be much of a target anywhere, but what do I know? I've got a pretty good idea of the weather/economy/general information type stuff, but I'd like to hear more about the day to day life stuff from somebody who's "on the spot" and isn't trying to fast sell a "tourist"
