Homeland Security's new Site - 02/19/03 08:52 PM

I just saw this morning that the Department of Homeland Security has a new preparedness website. Good start I think, except for that whole plastic sheeting and duct tape thing Maybe now that people who "know what they're doing" are advocating this sort of preparedness it'll become more widely accepted. I'd be interested in hearing what people with more experience than I have think about thier site.

Chris.

From a personal standpoint, it's "too little, too late."

Not to mention a lot of it is at best, ill-advised...quite frankly, the web site is at best designed to tweak the public curiosity. Someone who's read it and interested will certainly read between the lines and investigate on their own...but sheep will bleat over their duct tape and drop-cloth purchases as they choke to death over the fumes of journalism
