Dutch Oven Gathering in Ohio May 24

Hi all - sorry for the short notice, but for those who are interested or can make it, Lehman's in Kidron, Ohio (well-known for supplying all sorts of down-to-earth products like lamps, mills, etc.) is sponsoring a one-day dutch oven gathering.

Lehman's Dutch Oven Gathering

10 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can bring your gear and cook with them if you want to, and there will be a training class by "Dutch Oven" Dave Horton from Buffalo.

I think i am done with dutch ovens, at least for now on the last 3-4 campouts my scout master has made us use only dutch ovens for cooking! grrrrrr!

The gathering looks pretty interesting. If it wasn't so far away I'd think about attending.

Oh man, if only I could make it! My mouth is watering just thinking about it...

Costco now has Lodge pre-seasoned "dutch ovens," but they are the type with no legs, and no rim on the lid...

I can live with no legs, but I have to have a rimmed lid.
