Here's my PSK
11cm x 8cm x 2cm box
20cm of reflective tape
50cm of duct tape
LED light that runs on 2016 batteries
Compass
Box of matches
Whistle
Water purification tablets
Im in search of a smaller compass at the moment so that big one will have to do for now.
Am I missing out anything?

Let's see, you could add a few items that don't take up much space, such as sewing needles, a thin signal mirror, a few tinder tabs, safety pins, maybe a small mag bar instead of the matches, using the Micra as a scraper. I don't see a container for water, maybe an oven bag could be used. Add some dental floss for cordage. Aluminum foil for a pot. I like to include multi-use items in my kits.

Well, let's see here --
My PSK is in an Altoids tin - it's about the size of a US cigarette pack. In it, I have:
2 small suture strips
1 Curad bandage - 3/4" wide
1 wire saw
1 small magnifying glass
1 utility knife blade
1 water purification tablet
2 Benadryl capsule (antihistamine)
30 ft 150 pound test 3-strand waxed fishing line
1 birthday candle
1 small package Bacitracin (antibiotic ointment)
1 pair La Cross angled-tip tweezers
1 button compass
1 Immodium tablet (anti-diarrheal)
6 strike-anywhere matches
1 fishing kit in a .410 shotgun casing with:
- 5 #6 hooks
- 2 brass swivels
- 5 small lead sinkers
- 2 rubber baits
6 feet snare wire
4 swivels
1 condom (for a water bag)
1 alcohol prep pad
1 providone-iodine prep pad
1 2" square Curad bandage
8 assorted sewing needles (large and small eye)
20 ft nylon thread
The tin is wrapped with about 10 feet of paracord.
I carry a magnesium firestarter, SAK, flashlight, button LED light and a P38 separately.
That give you any ideas? <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
UPDATE:
I picked up a Whitman's Candy sampler tin at Wal Mart the other day - it looked to be a bit bigger than the Altoids tin.
It turns out that in addition to the items above, I can put into the Whitman's tin:
The magnesium fire starter
The P38 can opener (used to strike the sparks)
A mini-BIC lighter

I didn't notice a whistle. Might be a good addition.

Yep. I have a whistle/thermometer/compass on the string with a little pill carrier that has a few matches, a needle, thread, and a fishing kit.

The blue thing near the bottom of the pic with the reflective tape is a whistle. It is one of those Bison survival whistles that allow you to put a slip of paper with ur medical info inside. Or can be used as a pill carrier.
I recently replaced the big compass with a 20mm one. So I have much more space.
Still in search of a mirror though...
