Boker Gemini - 05/18/03 03:08 PM
Has anyone used the Boker Gemini knife? I'm concidering it for EDC as it only costs £30 and looks like a good knife.

It's a good knife. My finish (black blade and body) began to wear off but it happened in a graceful way. I found that it was little to slippery for my hand when working outside in the rain. Lock is pretty straight forward reminding me of Buck Crosslock. I like the blade steel, it keeps it's edge and feels solid. I lost it and replaced it with Boker Top Lock. It requires a bit more maintanance but I like it a bit more than Gemini. Maybe it's because inside mechanism gives it better balance.

For a quality brand and make - yes. Compared to a spyderco that I was concidering.
